All metal handles that withstand high oven heat in ways other more expensive brands do not. Surfaces are as they advertised. This dutch oven is SOLID and STURDY.

The vendor shipped in a timely manner.

One thing to note; this item does not have the heavy mass a cast iron dutch oven does. It is not a better or worse issue; it is just is what it is.

It has withstood burial in coals completely unmarred or discolored. It has produced great loafs of bread and some incredible, evenly cooked stews. A slow cooked braised roast and a full beef brisket have both been cooked to tender perfection in this dutch oven.

I use the blender all the time for smoothies. I even have a spare motor for that time when the original motor bites the dust... I also have two jars. I'm now in the market for another blade/gear as two teeth remain on the gear.

This blender sold for under $50 when it first came out, it got great reviews from "Cook's Illustrated" and "Consumer Reports" then the price went up. Then everyone bought it, the issue with the gear became apparent and it seems it was discontinued... and the price is back down.

When I make soup the lid handle isn't very tight. I would advise people to use a towel over the lid when holding the lid down or use cold soup and have a spare mop handy.

Did I mention that it works great on smoothies using "ice" cubes made of fresh strawberries when the price is low/in season.

I bought this blender 3.5 years ago, and it's still going strong. It gets pretty heavy use making 2 smoothies and 6 cups of pureed food every day.

What's the secret to its longevity? Before turning it on, I twist the jar a bit to make sure it's seated properly. If it's off just a little bit, the blender will make an awful noise as one or more of the plastic gear teeth snap off. Bleary-eyed or in a hurry, you can easily miss that it's mis-seated -- best to jiggle it. (I learned this lesson the hard way.)

Fortunately, a replacement blade was about $20 (Google "MX2050 blade").

It blends very well if you put the ingredients in the proper order. For smoothies, put frozen berries on the bottom, followed by other fruit, nuts, protein powder, then just enough liquid to cover. First blend at low speed to mix things up, then power on full. If you put protein powder or nuts in first, you'll end up with caked on powder or nuts on the bottom, and you'll have to disassemble it to clean it. If you put the liquid in first, the chunky stuff on top won't get mixed, and you'll have to push it down; plus, the powder will stick to the sides.

For pureed food, make sure to add enough extra liquid or it will blend the bottom without touching the top. The vortex action will be obvious if you're doing it properly.

It's easy to clean, if you rinse immediately after using. I rarely take the blade assembly off; if you do, I would expect the gasket to wear out. When you do disassemble it, make sure to put the gasket between the blade assembly and the glass jar; otherwise, it will leak.

As for noise, I'd say it's pretty average, that is, too noisy; I can easily hear it behind my closed bedroom door upstairs in the morning.

The markings on the base (Braun logo, speeds, etc) wear off easily. It doesn't affect its functionality, but it doesn't look so great either.

The Hoover Steam Vac with clean surge is a very easy to use machine. I did not use the cleaner that came with it. Instead, I pre-treated the spots on my carpet with Spot Shot. I then used boiling water in the steam vac instead of hot water as the directions said. I have found that when using the cleaner in the water, it leaves a residue on the carpet, which attracts dirt back into the carpet. This method of only using boiling water and pre-treating the spots worked great!!!!! I previously had my carpets professionally cleaned which cost me over $300. The Hoover Steam Vac cleaned my carpets better than the professionals. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to use and will pay for itself in no time. I have a dog that is getting older and is having more accidents and the Steam Vac easily removes the pet stains. Make sure to follow the directions closely to assemble the machine so that is works properly.

I found out about this item from a distribution list I am signed up for that focuses on how to save money. It was recommended to spot treat ahead of time and then use only boiling water in the cleaner, no detergent. The theory of avoiding detergent is that soap is difficult to get out of the carpet and adds to future dirtiness/stickyness of the carpet. Theory of using boiling water is that first of all it is very hot which means it cleans the carpet better and secondly, it is easier to get the carpet dry.

We had just purchased a foreclosed home and didn't really want to replace the carpet right away as we have multiple dogs and teenagers and would rather wait several years until we have less dogs and teenagers at home to replace it. But I did want clean carpet!

The carpet is an off-white and had definitely seen better days. We had the carpet cleaned professionally before we moved in and it looked better than before but was still dingy and I wasn't satisfied. So I bought this cleaner and tried it again using the spot treatment & boiling water method and was blown away by all of the gunk and nastiness that came out of the carpet even AFTER "professional" cleaning...and the carpet looked ten times better than before once it dried.

I would definitely buy it all over again. Spent over $350 dollars on the "professional" cleaning job and less than half that for this unit and it can be reused over and over again to keep the carpet clean. I highly recommend it but again...no detergent and use boiling water. Just do multiple dry "strokes" over the carpet until it dries...no waiting around for it to dry...it is almost instant. We love it!

After years of renting carpet cleaners, we decided it was time to purchase a unit of our own. I did some online research as to which machine would provide the best cleaning at a reasonable price and the Hoover came out on top. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together (from unpacking to finish), the instructions were easy to follow. We used it on our three bedrooms and could not believe the dirt it was pulling up from the carpets. It is just my husband and myself and two cats in the house. I knew that the carpets were due for a cleaning, but I didn't know that they were THAT dirty! It is very easy to set up, operate, and break down to empty and clean up. I am extremely happy with this new design. The previous tank leaked if it wasn't positioned exactly where it was supposed to be. The solution reservoir ended up separating from the tank on the previous design, and I ended up with shampoo all over my floor! I'm just glad it wasn't on the carpet. What a mess! The only disappointment was that the handle didn't come with it. It shipped sooner than it was supposed to, and I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.

I have now used this for about two weeks. So far I have nothing bad to say. It gets the steam going quickly and it steams for a pretty good amount of time. I must say I prefer to use it with the concentrator nozzle. It really blasts stubborn stuff, along with providing great steam for the rest. It has a really long cord, so you can move around a room easily. I don't care for the window accessories. I just steam the windows and wipe them off with a soft cloth. And the price I paid on Amazon just makes it a hit all the way around!

I love the Euro-Pro Shark SC630 Steam Pocket Multi-Purpose Portable Steamer. It does what it is advertised to do. I bought new drapes and used my fabric steamer attachment for the creases and it worked great. I have also used it for other things of which I love. Thanks so much for inventing such a product. I have recommended it to others as well as my pocket steamer I already had.

I was hesitant to try this product after reading all of the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It steams with a vengeance and the microfiber pads pick up the dirt nicely. I'm not Mrs. Clean so I had a lot of areas to test it out on. It got rid of 5 years of grease, grime and gunk in the kitchen. The microwave looks brand new...so does the Foreman grill. I've tried cleaning these things in the past and they never got as clean as they did with the Shark. I used a twist tie to hold down the steam trigger and it steamed like a locomotive. It is surprisingly powerful, very noisy and hot. It makes the immediate area hot and I worked up a sweat around it BUT it works. I can't understand the people saying that it does not get hot. MINE GETS VERY HOT. Maybe it is my New York City soft water. Anyway I went on a cleaning frenzy and am now exhausted. More cleaning tomorrow. I love this thing!

I had owned a combination smoker. It was a stainless steal tower that had a propane burner in the bottom and a disk for charcoal above that and a water tray and a pair of steel meat racks above all of the burner stuff. It is a nice unit. It is not a smoker unit. It was sold as a smoker unit. You could not control the temp enough to slow cook or smoke a piece of meat slowly without a lot of supervision. I mean a lot of supervision. The temp would go up and down. What I love about the Big Chief is that it is a smoker. I can put any product in it I want to smoke and not worry about over cooking. I smoke hams, turkey etc in the Big Chief and then bring them into the kitchen oven to bake. I have control. I control the amount of smoke, I control the baking.

The Big Chief has been very predictable for jerky and for sausages. We are getting spoiled by the summer sausage done in the Big Chief.

I would guess that anyone reading this testimonial has spent some bucks on cookers and so called smokers. I tell you this is the real deal. It works. It is priced under all the others. You will be thrilled with the control you have to smoke foods.

After looking for months for the perfect doll pram for my 6 year old daughter, I found this one. I bought her a boy baby doll because she's going to have a new baby brother and I wanted her to have a stroller just like Mommy's(I have a Peg Perego Pliko Switch.) The problem was every doll pram I found was pink or had pink accents...then I found this one and it is perfect because it is red and black. I had my heart set on the maclaren travelmate doll pram but I couldn't find one that didn't have pink on it...and it was $115.00. This one was very resonably priced and great quality!! It is nicer than a lot of "real" baby strollers! It is definitely tall enough for my 6 year old...which I was a little worried about as the height is listed at 24/25"... a little misleading. The handle is actually adjustable from 17"-27".

Just received my vacumn and was easy to put together, and when I used for the first time it was awesome. I have some disabilities but I was able to push this with very little effort. Everything was at my fingertips and I did not have to bend to change any settings from floor to rugs. The suction was great. I have a small dog and the hair was picking up before I was even near it. I gave up my powerful canister that cost me close to $400. for this and I couldn't be happier. At least now I don't have to call my daughter to come over and do this for me anymore. And she's happy cause now she got my old vacumn.

If you are in the market for a cheap priced but high quality, low profile, slim but powerful, hepa filtrated vacuum (now that I have your attention)then get this bad boy. Its a work horse in a slimline body. It has the height of a regular vacuum when the handle is extended, when lowered its about half that size (can go just about everywhere in between too, good for kids or shorter people). A powerful suction that is filtered by a hepa filter to stop dust from getting back out into the air. Its mouth is not super wide, but its light weight makes sliding over a space twice, half as easy as going over carpet with a full size once. It has dedicated switching from hose to floor as well as the capability of both. Its attachments make the hose more versatile (an open brush extension for rough and tough things, and a power paw for others). You will get creative. The suction is strong and noticeable, this is not one of those baby vacs in disguise. Good probably for an apartment or dorm, although I would use it even as a main vacuum (some might like it as a light weight spare). Whatever your choice this is a good vacuum and a nice brand.

You may be wondering about the handle. That is what caught my eye. You will like its look in person too. I prefer it over a regular handle.

ONLY CON: Small dust bunnies will quickly build around the filter (this was in some other reviews), if you don't mind work you can clean it every once in a while with a few Qtips. If you do mind work, expect to need a new filter eventually. I would say you could go fine- if you cleaned it -for twice its lifespan (3 months I think) without that it may be iffy. Though if you are like some people I know this wont matter a lick to you because you will never change it anyways. :)

I looked at a lot of vacuums on Amazon and read many reviews. This one sounded good overall and the free shipping was a plus! I ordered this item on Saturday and on Monday my old vacuum died! I just got the Eureka today. I put it together in minutes and couldn't believe the small size with great power. It picks up a lot more then the old Dirt Devil (yuk). This will making cleaning a little more enjoyable!

Our Eureka Upright 431BX Vacuum was broken after 4 years maximize of use and we bought this guy following reviews on Amazon for replacement. It's technically the same machine but this little guy a bit smaller, a bit lighter and more functional. It's pretty easy maneuver, much less noise compare with our current model. And smart idea this one has an additional rotate brush, which is very helpful to clean stair or corner.

Over all, I'm happy with my new vac performances and cannot ask for more. Especially with Amazon pricing plus free shipping you just can't go wrong! Thanks to the reviews was very helpful anytime I have to buy something. I have not yet disappointed once when shopping here.

It's a shame that Playtex had to discountinue their very popular and well fitting LACE underwire bra, #4233. So far, I haven't been able to find the same kind of bra made by another manufacturer. Not all of us can wear the formed and/or padded ones that all the companies are making as we are not all still in our teens. Some company out there should come up with Bras that fit.

All of the details were exactly as described. Wide comfortable straps and extra support but not padding. Lovely material. Only drawback, it seemed a bit large or ample for the stated size. I am still able to wear it, but at the tightest closure hooks. NOT a minimizer, gives a normal look, but large if you are a large size.

Following our successful use at home (for about a year), I bought a second unit and batteries for use at my church. We use the batteries for the wireless microphone. We've used that one for several months now with no complaints at all. These are good chargers, I recommend them!

I bought this charger at a local electronics store 3-4 years ago, hoping it could cut down on AA batteries for a few basic things (remote control, mini maglight, etc). It's exceeded all of my expectations and I now use it to charge batteries for just about everything.

I have dozens of AA, AAA, C, and D batteries in rotation. I'm an avid photographer and am using it to charge AAs for my speedlights every few days, so it gets a lot of use. In several years, I've never had a single problem with the charger. It always just works. It's reasonably fast. And the battery lifetimes always meet my expectations.

I've only ever used the Energizer brand rechargeable batteries and only the high-capacity ones (e.g. 2450 or 2500 mAH for AAs), so I can't say whether it works with other brands. I wouldn't expect it to.

I can't begin to fathom how much money rechargeables have saved me in these 3-4 years. I still haven't had to replace a single rechargeable battery (even my first ones are going strong). Camera equipment, flashlights, remotes, wireless video game controllers, kids toys, clocks. Turns out I had a lot more batteries in use around my house than I realized and now they're all recharged, basically for free.

As a rechargeable battery fan, I've owned many 4-cell chargers.

Then I began to use 15+ AAA NiMH batteries per day at work; I was tired of the 4-cell chargers, some of which would end up uncomfortably warm.

I saw the "Energizer Family Charger" and bought it mostly because it would charge up to 8 batteries, in about 6 hours -- I could charge a set while I was at work and one overnight.

After a couple of months of frequent use, we reduced usage to about 20 batteries/week and then the projects been on hold.

But in that time this charger has been absolutely a great buy.

Pro:

- Bad Cell detection. When you have 40+ cells that you use on a regular basis, some will die. Without

some method to discover bad cells, you'll waste a lot of time trying to discover the problem.

- 1-cell charging. This charge has 4 "slots" each of which will hold 1 or 2 cells. So, if you're

like me with a bunch of 3-cell devices, this offers you a solution that most do not.

Cons:

- kind of pricey.

In fact I like this charger so much, it's the only one I use at home.

This product is of good quality. But be careful of the size as is smaller than expected.
Don't expect to be able to throw on straight away, requires a lot of time to sew up the sides originally
